Electra’s partnership with Group CéSAR

Group CéSAR, the Center of Excellence and Service for Aviation Refuellers, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Electra Commercial Vehicles Ltd, a leading innovator in electric and hydrogen-powered commercial vehicle technology across the BENELUX region and beyond. This strategic alliance marks a significant milestone in the aviation industry’s decarbonization and operational efficiency journey.

Act now to optimize your fleet and stay ahead in the aviation industry!

The partnership will introduce Electra’s state-of-the-art electric vehicles to airports throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and additional European markets. The electric refuellers and dispenser vehicles, available in Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), Full Electric (BEV), and Fuel Cell/Hydrogen (FCEV) versions, are set to transform airport ground operations by dramatically reducing greenhouse gas emissions and operational costs.

This collaboration between Group CéSAR, Aircraft Refueller Company NV, and Electra Ltd represents a quantum leap in sustainable airport infrastructure. By bringing these innovative zero-emission refuellers to market, we’re not just changing how aircraft are refuelled – we’re paving the way for a greener, more efficient aviation industry.

‘’Our aim is to provide an exceptional experience for the heavy vehicle community in the region, driven by their needs and inspired by the latest advancements in vehicle technology.’’

The transition to zero-emission airports is now more critical than ever. As part of our collaboration, we are presenting a proposal that leverages ARC’s NV three decades of expertise in refurbishing aircraft refuellers, combined with our partner’s innovative approach to converting diesel trucks to electric. This comprehensive solution is designed to meet the future needs of the industry. We strongly advocate upcycling old truck vehicles as a cost-effective strategy, enabling companies to gain a competitive edge and providing a dependable alternative to purchasing new electric vehicles. We are enthusiastic about this extended partnership’s potential for both of our teams.

This partnership is expected to significantly impact the market, potentially setting a new standard for airport ground operations across Europe and beyond. As airports and airlines seek to meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the availability of Electra’s vehicles through Group CéSAR’s established distribution network will provide a timely and effective solution.
